Product Description
Before Testing:
1. Remove hexagonal vinyl tip at the end of the hydrometer.
2. Carefully remove float from glass tube.
3. Remove Styrofoam strip, re-start float with weighted end towards the vinyl tip, and replace vinyl tip.
Testing a battery:
1. Wet interior of glass tube before each use.
2. Insert vinyl tip into cell of battery.
3. Hold hydrometer vertically, squeezing the vinyl bulb to draw up fluid. Caution: Make sure the float does not touch the vinyl bulb.
4. The line on the hydrometer where it meets the fluid indicates the battery condition.
